Dog Shows

Dog shows were an important part of the None Such story for many years, and we are incredibly proud of what our dogs have achieved along the way.

Over the years, None Such Pomeranians have reached some of the highest achievements possible in the show world, including World and European Winner titles, numerous International Championships, numerous National Championships and many other prestigious titles and awards.

We have had the privilege of showing our dogs at some of the most important events in Europe and beyond, competing alongside outstanding representatives of the breed and creating many unforgettable memories.

Today, however, dog shows are no longer an important part of our breeding program.

The show world has changed considerably over the years and, unfortunately, we no longer feel that it consistently represents the values that once made showing meaningful to us. Too often, the emphasis has shifted away from knowledgeable, objective evaluation of breeding quality and towards politics, presentation and the increasingly commercial side of the show world.

For us, the purpose of showing was never simply to collect trophies. It was about having our dogs evaluated against the breed standard, comparing them with other quality representatives of the breed and using that information as one of many tools in making responsible breeding decisions.

When that evaluation no longer provides the information and objectivity we are looking for, showing itself loses much of its purpose.

After almost three decades in the breed, we feel fortunate to have already experienced the very best that the show world had to offer and to have achieved more than we could ever have dreamed of when we started. We have nothing left to prove in the show ring.

Today, we prefer to invest our time and resources where we believe they matter most: health testing, careful breeding decisions, studying pedigrees and genetics, raising and socialising our puppies, continuing our education and, most importantly, simply enjoying life with our dogs

Our show history will always remain an important and very special chapter of None Such Pomeranians – one that we look back on with enormous pride and gratitude.
